Set in Post-WWII Rome, Cortellesi masterfully combines, history, comedy, and drama, and packages it in a Neorealist vibe, to tell the story of Delia. Wife to Ivano and mother of three, Delia's aspirations in life amount to avoiding the wrath of her husband and securing a good marriage for her daughter. But when a mysterious letter arrives, perhaps there is a chance for something more.
