Winter Quarter Italian Conversation Hour

Join students of Italian every other Friday for chats in Italian. All levels of Italian are welcome! The Italian Conversation Hour is hosted by one of the departments' tutors, Arianna, and it takes place on January 22, February 5, February 19, and March 5 at 3:00pm PST on Zoom.

Black Lives Matter

The Department of French & Italian condemns racial injustice and police brutality in all forms, and stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and antiracist protest movements throughout the world. Racist policing and white supremacy are international problems with a long history, and are inextricably bound up with the legacy of European settler colonialism (including French and Italian colonialism specifically) and the slave trade.
